This policy explains what personal data we process when you use www.intento.ro, contact us or become our client, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and Romanian Law no. 190/2018.
Who is responsible for your data

What data we process
When you write to us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), project description, additional comments and any files you attach (for example a floor plan). The form stores nothing on the website: your message and files are sent straight to us by email, to office@intento.ro.
When you email or call us: the data in your message or call.
When we work together: the data needed for the contract and invoicing (name, address, identification or company details), the address of and information about the space (plans, photographs, measurements) and our project correspondence.
When you visit the website: the server hosting the website automatically records, in technical logs, your IP address, the date and time, the page visited and your browser type, so the website works and stays secure.
If you accept analytics: with your consent, given in the banner on your first visit, Microsoft Clarity records how you use the website: the pages you open, clicks, scrolling and mouse movements, your device, browser and approximate location (derived from your IP address), as session replays and heatmaps. Text typed into the contact form is masked and not recorded. Without your consent, Clarity is not loaded. We use no advertising tools (see the cookie policy).
We do not ask for, and would rather not receive, sensitive data (for example health data).
Why we process it, and on what basis
- To answer you and send an offer: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To carry out the project: to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- For invoicing and accounting records: to meet our tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and to defend our rights in a dispute: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (Microsoft Clarity): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing does not affect what was collected before.
We do not use your data for marketing and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
- Datahost (datahost.ro), our web hosting and email provider in Romania, which stores the website and our mailboxes on our behalf as a processor.
- Our accountant and our bank, for invoicing and payments, if you become a client.
- Collaborators on a project (for example builders or furniture suppliers), only the data strictly needed and only for your project, after discussing it with you.
- Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity), which provides the analytics service, only if you accept it.
- Public authorities, only where the law requires it.
Our own data stays in the European Economic Area. Data collected by Microsoft Clarity, if you accept it, may be transferred to the United States; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection. If you contact us through Instagram or Pinterest, or take the style quiz on tryinteract.com, what you enter there is processed by those platforms under their own policies.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 2 years after our last exchange.
- The contract and project documents: for the duration of the contract and 3 years after it ends (the general limitation period).
- Accounting documents (such as invoices): for the period set by the Romanian Accounting Law no. 82/1991.
- The server's technical logs: a short period set by the hosting provider, after which they are deleted automatically.
- Microsoft Clarity: session recordings for 30 days, and the aggregated statistics (heatmaps, page counts) for up to 13 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to us at any time at office@intento.ro; we answer within one month.
If you believe your data is not handled properly, you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to email and project documents is limited to the studio's team. Plans and photographs you send are used only for your project.
Other information
The website is not aimed at children under 16. We make no decisions based solely on automated processing of your data.
We may update this policy; the version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update above.
