In times when cultural differences and architectural education of non-professionals tend to migrate the designs to apparently elegant and luxurious, but mostly kitsch or unbalanced solutions, we developed a manifesto project. We aim to demonstrate that elegance is not obtained just with glossy surfaces, strident colours and a combination of luxury finishes. We consider that elegance comes from fine details, a balance between tones and finishes and high-class materials used judiciously. We do not deny colours. The current project is just a manifesto, an idea driven to extreme just to prove a point and make people understand that real balance and elegance are achieved through intentionality and essentialism, not through maximalism and perfunctory concepts.
